Sounds & ToolBits™
Silicone is suited very well for this type of toy because it can be sterilized safely without compromising its integrity. The fact that Sounds can be made is also a great testament to the strength of silicone as a material for the toys overall.
Platinum cure Silicone can be autoclaved or processed in a pressure cooker safely without melting. Originally inspired by a good friend of mine, Dan, who one day showed me his collection of vinyl jelly type fishing lures he was using for urethral play. Realizing they were most likely not sterile or safe I set myself on a quest to develop some type of safe silicone toy for him. There were no silicone sounds on the market at the time, and so in 2000 the first set was produced at SquarePegToys®. They were crudely designed at first, but that didn’t keep them from being well received.
In 2002, the design was improved with gentle entry rounded tips, and a generous length of 15″ to incorporate 2 size diameters into one: the mid-point of each sound the shaft increases by 2 french. Thanks to all the feedback received on that original set of sounds, these latest models proved to be everything and more, carving out a new niche of silicone urethral toys.
The latest improvement to the design is a bulb near the base end of the sound, which when used in tandem with a coronal ring allows the sound to be held in place.

ToolBits™
If you were a fan of the older versions you’ll certainly love these. These are even softer and more squirmy than the original formula allowing for more creative shapes with a bit more texture and still not be overly rough to play with. Bend easily through PA holes for a unique look.
As with all SquarePegToys® original designs, the ToolBits™ are hand sculpted and hand tooled so be warned you may not like them if slight imperfections and asymmetries aren’t your jam.
