Make Your Own Dildo MYOD
SquarePeg’s original concept the MYOD workshop is back
In the same spirit of those first MYODs from 2011/2012: all monies raised will go to charity, for 2020 that charity is the National Coalition for Sexual Freedom. If you don’t know about this organization, please take a moment to learn a bit more about them and the important work they do by going to their website.
Come spend some one-on-one time with Scott Douglas, founder and creator of SquarePegToys®, and let him share his passion for creative sexual expression with you in a working studio environment. Discover first hand what makes SquarePeg so unique, in the adult toy industry. Scott will guide you through the process to create a mold of your object that he will then use to produce a cast in 100% Platinum Grade silicone for you to take home. Toys will generally be ready for pickup 3 hours after the end of the session.
You will gain experience using some materials widely available to the amateur mold maker that you can then employ to create more objects on your own. Sizing is strictly limited to 32oz for the workshop. See italics below for instructions on how to determine its volume.
Lots of colors are available, some UV colors too: Pink, Green, Orange and Violet, as well as metallics. Just no copper color, which is a registered trademark of SquarePegToys®. Swirling or blocking/layering of color won’t be possible in the short time available.
Advanced sign up and preparation of your object required. Registration closes about 7 days before the studio date after which the registration fee is non-refundable unless the slot can be filled.
Scott will contact you and guide you on any preparation that can be done to ensure you get the best success. As you can see from the images, there’s been a wide variety of things cast into silicone in past MYODs! Fists can be done most easily, a penis is possible though they are often finicky. But not everything has to be an insertable toy, pups can make chew toys out of their favorite objects too.
To determine the volume of your object you can use the water displacement technique. Find a container that will fit the entire object. Place this container in a larger container and fill the smaller one with water up to the very brim. Gently place your object in the container, being sure it is fully submerged. The water that flows out into the larger container is the volume of your object, just measure it with a liquid measuring cup.
